Blog author Brian Joosse & I were film students at Chicago's Northwestern University when we made our first 16mm film together. At the time, I couldn't possibly have imagined writing this post from my LA bathroom on my fancy iPhone 3GS... ;-) We edited on an 8-plate Steenbeck from slivers & streams of delicate silver-halide laden monochromatic acetate, draped in an organized chaos around the room... digital editing, shooting and Hi-Def were merely vibrant, inspiring pigments of our young imaginations...
Perhaps I'll tell more of *that* story from a larger keyboard... Later!!
